We all want our blog posts to get the most attention from our visitors. Unfortunately, many of our visitors have short attention spans and will leave before paying attention to the content that we’d like them to see. Animating your blog can certainly grab the attention of your visitors. The Welcomizer is a cool script that uses jQuery to animate certain segments of your website.

The Welcomizer allows you to use this effect on your home page, pages, posts, or on all of them. All you have to do is define your first movement to get started. Of course, you want to input the elements that you plan to move and the events that trigger them (optional).

Each movement supports personalized options. You can add your own Javascript in the back-end. Once you save your movement, you get a summary of what it will do (so you can make changes if you are looking for a different effect).

Animating your blog won’t do miracles. But it could get some attention for segments on your blog that are the most important to you. The Welcomizer just simplifies the process.
