How To Add Announcements To Your Blog

Every webmaster has to make special announcements on his/her website from time to time. Your announcement could be just a welcome message to your new visitors or information on a scheduled maintenance. It could also cover special occasions. Announcer for WordPress is a useful plugin that allows you to enable site announcements on your website quickly.

This plugin is very easy to install and quite flexible. For starters, you are in control of what shows up in your announcement. Just update your text in the back-end, and you are set. This announcement could be anything you want it to be (e.g. call to action for folks to join your newsletter). The WYSIWYG interface on the settings page can be used to come up with sophisticated announcements for your website.

You have the option to show your announcement before your posts, after them, or wherever you can add your code. You can also customize the look and feel of your announcement box as long as you know your CSS. Want your announcement to end at a specific date? Just use the right date format to set that up.

If you want to promote your other works on your site or want to make special announcements on your site from time to time, Announcer for WordPress has you covered.
