How To Backup WordPress to DropBox

As a WordPress webmaster, you can’t afford not to have all your data backed up and secure just in case a disaster happens. Those who dare to do so take on a whole lot of risk that could bring their business down eventually. With all the cloud storage systems available on the market today, there is simply no excuse for not storing a copy of your websites in the cloud. DropBox is one of the best cloud computing solutions on the market. It is pretty affordable and has a number of useful backup tools available for it. WordPress Backup to Dropbox is a powerful plugin that lets you store your websites in the cloud.

This plugin is pretty simple to use. You are going to need a DropBox account available. In order to get started, you need to figure out which folder in the cloud you want to upload your files too. Choosing time and backup frequency is not a bad idea either. You can always see how much storage you have available which is nice.

BackWPup is another powerful backup solution for WordPress that lets you send your files to the cloud. This one is compatible with DropBox, Azure, and Amazon S3. It can save your files locally too. Best of all, it gives you a lot of control over scheduling.

Both these plugins are free. Your cloud storage won’t be free but cloud pricing plans are very affordable anyway.
