Comment Link Manager: Manage Links in WordPress Comments
You can’t run a vibrant blog without allowing others to chime in and add their comments to your website. It is easy to manage your comments when you are getting only a handful of them everyday. But if you get 50 or 100 comments each day, it is going to take you a lot of time going through each of them. I personally prefer using Intense Debate or Disqus on my sites. But those are not for everyone. Comment Link Manager is a cool plugin that gets rid of links in your comments.
Why should you be worried more about the links people post to your comments? It is simple: many spammers use comments to link to their Viagra or other spammy sites. You certainly do not want to have a link going from your site to one of these. With this plugin, you gain control over the links left in your comment section.
I like the fact that you can blacklist links going to a certain site. Want to reward your loyal readers with a do-follow link? It is pretty simple to do with this plugin. You should make links open in a new window to avoid losing your visitors. Overall, Comment Link Manager is a pretty decent plugin to use to gain more control over the links included in the comments on your website.
