How To Import Facebook Comment To WordPress

A lot of webmasters import their blogs into Facebook (into their notes in most cases). When you do that, you do not get the comments that show up on Facebook back on your blog. That is a bit problematic since you want your community to have access to those comments on your site. That’s where Facebook CommentsTNG comes into play. It is an awesome plugin that lets you import your Facebook comments into your WordPress website. That way you get to keep the full conversation going on your website.

Using this plugin is very simple. You will need a Facebook account to get started. If you don’t have one already, you can create one fast, though it will take you a bit of time to get some comments going on your notes. Have imported your blog into a Facebook page? Just provide the page ID to this plugin and you are set.

Just log on to your Facebook page and grab the digits in the end and enter it on the page below:

This plugin lets you pick the frequency in which you want to import Facebook comments to your WordPress site. You can set up your crawler to do the job daily or weekly. I don’t recommend auto-approving comments as you always want to make sure spammers don’t make it to your site. You also have the option to change the meta information that gets displayed with comments.

If you have imported your blog into Facebook and have gotten some decent action on that site, there is no reason you shouldn’t import the comments you have gotten to back site. Just watch out for spammers.
