For starters, the theme is responsive. It works well on desktops, tablets, and smartphones. It uses the Fuse framework to provide you with the chance to change some of its settings easily. Gadgetry is jQuery enhanced and offers auto image resizing. It is cross browser compatible as well. Custom widgets are included too.
Gadgetry may not be the most sophisticated theme for gadget sites. But it is free and more than decent to get you started.
