How to: Add Multiple Featured Images to WordPress

Many magazine and portfolio themes use featured images in WordPress to work properly. In most cases, you get to attach only one featured image to your posts. But what if you need more than that? That’s what the Multiple Featured Images is designed to do. You can add additional featured images to posts or pages to use for whatever purpose you have in mind.

The script is simple to use and does what it promises well. You can set your featured images like you would do without this plugin installed. You can add as many featured images as you need them for your theme to work properly. The Multiple Featured Images plugin adds the appropriate “Use as featured image” links to the Media Upload box.

In many cases, you won’t need to have multiple images associated with your posts and pages. But when you do, Multiple Featured Images for WordPress has you covered.
