How to: Add WordPress Post Update Links

Your job is never done when you write a great post. In order to continue getting traffic and build loyal visitors with your best articles, you need to update them from time to time. This is even more important if you cover the news on your site and have to do updates regularly. You certainly want to link to the updates you make to make reading your content easier for your visitors. WordPress Post Update Links is a cool plugin that handles the job for you.

This plugin is useful for those of you who make constant updates to your posts. All you have to do is use the [update] shortcode to define the segments of your articles that you have updated. You can define titles for your updates or have them auto-generated. Don’t want to show your title in your post? Just use the nontitle property to handle that.

WordPress Post Update Links makes managing your update links in your posts easier. Just use the shortcodes to mark your updates and the rest is taken care of by this script.
