How To Ask for Donations On WordPress

Not every webmaster accepts donations these days. But if you are working towards supporting a good cause, there is no reason you should not ask your community to help you get there faster. In fact, many independent publishers rely on their audience to raise enough money to stay afloat. Adding sophisticated donation buttons to your website does not have to be difficult. Donation Can is a powerful plugin that lets you define your cause, gather donations through PayPal, and keep track of those who have donated to your website.

Donation Can has a ton of options. You can upload your PayPay email, choose your currency for donations, and where you want people to go when they donate to you. You also have the option to show your site’s logo on PayPal payment page and add text to your donation pages. Want to just test the plugin out? Just try the sandbox mode.

This plugin does allow you to define your own causes and how much money you need to support them. You can give people options as far as how much they donate to your website. Or you can keep things open for potential donors.

Deploying this plugin on your website is a piece of cake. Just add the donation widget to your sidebar to get started. You can also use short-codes to get the job done.

If you want to use your community to start raising money for your favorite cause, you can’t go wrong with Donation Can.
