How To Backup WordPress to IDrive

As a webmaster, you can’t afford to leave things to chance and not create backups of your website. Partnering with a decent backup storage provider goes a long way towards protecting your business against disasters and save you time and grief over time. IDrive for WordPress is a powerful plugin that lets you schedule backups and protect your content.

In order to use this plugin, you are going to need an IDrive online backup account. The plugin takes care of the rest for you. It lets you choose how to create backups of your data. I like the fact that backup files can be sent through SSL. It also provides you with the summary of your last backup so you know if things have gone wrong.

With IDrive, you won’t have a very difficult time restoring your website when things go wrong. This is a smart backup plugin. It does not backup everything all the time (does not waste your time). You can restore your site using a web interface or a Windows app. The notifications feature is pretty nice too.

IDrive for WordPress gives you an easy way to backup and restore your website in case of a disaster. You will have to sign up for an IDrive account to get started but it will be worth your while.
