How To: Display Scheduled WordPress Posts Ahead of Time

People who have been around WordPress know too well how its scheduling system works. You may be able to schedule as many posts as you like using this content management system. But your visitors won’t be able to see your future posts. Wouldn’t it be nice if you could tease your visitors with a list of your upcoming posts? That’s what Display Scheduled Posts for WordPress offers.

With this plugin, you can create a page or post on which you display your scheduled posts. The script will show post titles and dates. Don’t want to spoil the title of one or more of your upcoming posts? Just mark them as special and you are set (see screenshot below). Users get to define a temporary title for these types of posts. This is useful if you don’t want people to steal your topics before they go public.

In order to implement this script on your website, you should add the ” [scheduled-posts] ” shortcode to a page or post on your site. This gives you an easy way to tease your readers about your upcoming posts. It is never too early to start hyping your future posts.
