How To Display TwitPic Pictures On WordPress

If you have been sharing pictures on Twitter in the past, chances are you have used TwitPic from time to time. It is a free service that makes sharing photos and videos with your Twitter followers a piece of cake. There is a reason TwitPic has been so popular (even with all the issues it has had). It is very easy to use and does not take a whole lot to get started. Thanks to TwitPic for WordPress, you can show the latest content you are sharing on your website.

All you have to do to get this plugin to work is providing it with your account information. You can customize your title and the way pictures are displayed on your website. Widget and image width can be modified in this plugin’s settings page. I strongly recommend you no-follow links and set your links to open in a new window.

I personally turn off the link to Twitpic in my side-bar. Having too many links on each posts (without enough content) can look suspicious to the search engines. If you want to change the look of this plugin’s output beyond the options available from the back-end, you should try messing with twitpic.css file.

Overall, this is not a bad way to share your Twitter photos (shared through TwitPic) with your blog readers.
