We all use passwords to keep our profiles protected. If your password ends up in the wrong hands, your account is going to be in trouble. Changing your password from time to time is a great practice. People will have a difficult time guessing your password if you change it frequently. Unfortunately, many of us forget to do this. WordPress Password Expiry is an exciting script that expires your password for you and forces you to reset it.
The plugin is pretty simple to use. Just select the expiration period for passwords, and you are set. You can set a custom error message to give people whose passwords have expired heads up. The plugin shows the reset link on your login page. Keep in mind this plugin is designed for sites with registered users. It does keep the admin password safe.
WordPress Password Expiry is simple and does what it promises. We would love to be able to expire all passwords with this though.
