How To Implement BrowserID for WordPress

We all maintain accounts on various sites we use regularly. Having to enter your password everytime you sign in is not only not convenient but not safe either. Mozilla BrowserID is a cool service that simplifies the process of signing in to your favorite sites online. It only works on BroswerID compatible sites though. BrowserID plugin lets you add that feature to your own site, giving your visitors the opportunity to sign in on your site without having to enter their password.

BrowserID adds the appropriate sign in button for BrowserID service to your login page. Users also get a widget, a shortcode and a template tag to use on their site. BrowserID is pretty simple to use. Once someone signs in using this service, they are prompted to select their preferred email. After that, they get logged in without having to enter a password.

BrowserID for WordPress is simple to implement and can make using your website easier for your visitors. Pretty nice addition to your website.
