How To: Monitor Pageranks in WordPress

Most SEO experts would tell you that Google PageRank is not a huge ranking factor like it used to be. But monitoring it is still worth it for those of you who want to give your website the best chance to rank higher in the search engines. You can always rely on Google toolbar to monitor PageRank for individual pages. Thanks to Pagerank tools, you can monitor the PR for all your pages inside WordPress.

PageRank tools makes the process of tracking the PR score for your pages very easy. It not only graphs your PRs across your website, it also shows you the history on how your pages have fared in this area. You can clearly see which of your pages have lost or gained a higher PR score from Google over time. PageRank tools allow you to export your data in CSV format.

PageRank tools is fast and does not require you to run a cron job for it to work. It lets you filter your results and get a visual overview of all your PR scores. Being obsessed with your PR score is not the best way to optimize your sites for the search engines. But it does not hurt to keep an eye on your score. This plugin helps you track your scores so you don’t have to.
