NoSpamNX: Handle Spambots on WordPress

Most WordPress webmasters are very familiar with the idea of spambots. These annoying programs post spam links and content to WordPress websites and can overwhelm the ones that do not have proper protection in place. NoSpamNX is a cool WordPress plugin that helps you fight automated spam on your website. It adds invisible forms to your website to bust automated bots.

NoSpamNX is unlike other anti-spam plugins. It does not use Javascript or CAPTCHA. It adds additional form fields to your comment form which regular visitors won’t be able to see. It not only handles automated spams, it lets you handle handmade spam by blacklisting phrases, URLs, and domains.

NoSpamNX does not require Javascript and sessions. It does not put too much load on your database. Since it has hidden fields, the number of false positives you get are minimal. Unlike other anti-spam plugins, you do not have to be a tech genius to take advantage of this plugin.

NoSpamNX is simple to install and adds another layer of protection to your website. Nice to have if you are struggling to get a handle on spam comments on your website.
